Summer Decor Ideas

I'm getting ready to do some summer refreshing around here and I've been looking on Pinterest and décor magazines online for some inspiration. 

I thought I'd share some of the photos that have caught my eye. So grab a cup of tea or a glass of lemonade, sit back, and get ready for a lot of eye candy!

For summer, I like the idea of combining the two concepts with whites and a pop of color.  I think it looks fresh, and well--summery.

But I think my favorite for summer may be blue and white.  It's cool and relaxing.  Perfect for our humid summers here in Virginia.

While I'm not going to totally redecorate my rooms for the summer, I can change out my vignettes and throw pillows to update their look for the season.  The key is natural elements such as flowers, shells, baskets, wood, jute or rope--and I'm on the lookout for a cool-looking sail boat!
